The 4th of July has always been a special holiday in our family ... it brings back fond memories of parades, visits to the cemetery and family picnics when my Grandparents were alive. Being the daughter of a Navy Seabee, it was also a time for Daddy to remind us of our freedoms and how we should never take for granted the priviledge it is to be an American.
