Bacon Chestnuts
(These are greast and easy-to-make appetizers on Christmas morning.
A great snack while opening presents!)
3 lbs. thick-cut bacon
3 (8 oz) cans water chestnuts
Slice bacon in half; wrap one piece bacon around one water chestnut.
Skewer with toothpick to hold in place
Broil in oven (or toaster oven), turning frequently until bacon is
evenly cooked. Serve warm.
Makes about 36.
