Christmas Spiced Tea
~From The Complete Holiday Organizer by Emilie Barnes~
1 c. instant tea (dry)
2 c. dry Tang
3 c. sugar
1/2 c. red hots candy
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. powdered cloves
1 pkg. Wyler's lemonade mix
To one cup of hot water, add one heaping tablespoon of mix.
Makes 1 1/2 quarts.
Cranberry Tea
3 tsp. instant tea powder
1/2 tsp. ground allspice
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
6 c. boiling water
1 (3 ounce) package cherry flavored gelatin
1 c. orange juice
1/4 c. lemon juice
1 quart cranberry juice
1/2 c. white sugar
Place the instant tea, allspice, cinnamon and nutmeg in a bag and
steep in the boiling water for 5 minutes. Stir in the cherry gelatin
and let mixture cool. Add the orange juice, lemon juice, cranberry
juice and sugar. Mix until sugar is dissolved. Serve warm,
keep any extra in the refrigerator.
Holiday Wassail Recipe

1 gallon apple cider
1 large can pineapple juice (unsweetened)
3/4 c. strong tea -- can use herb tea
In a cheesecloth sack put:
1 T. whole cloves
1 T. whole allspice
2 sticks cinnamon
This is great cooked in a crockpot. Let it simmer very slowly for
four to six hours. You can add water if it evaporates too much.
Your house will smell wonderful and friends and family will love it!
