Christmas Morning Waffles
3 c. milk
3 eggs, beaten
8 T. butter, melted
3 T. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
Blend together milk and eggs. Add butter and sugar; stir in vanilla.
Combine dry ingredients and add to the milk mixture.
Heat waffle iron and brush with oil. Pour in enough batter to fill waffle iron;
close and bake until steaming stops and waffles are crisp and golden.
Serve with syrup and powdered sugar, if desired.
